Luis was born December 8, 1972, in Costa Rica, to the late Luis Masis and Margarita Aplizar. He worked in manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Tatiana Barquero of the home; son, Maclaren Masis of Maiden; and two stepsons, David Gonazalez of Crouse and Andres Gonzales of Lincolnton.
