Gamiel Clyde Raines, age 68, of Union Ridge Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 6, 2021.
Mr. Raines was born March 27, 1953, in Romney, West Virginia, to the late Van and Gyneth Raines. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Avis McKinney and Roberta Long; brother, Gary Merritt; and brother-in-law, Dallas Fowler. He served in the United States Army, and later worked as a line leader in door manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Ann Nagy Raines of the home; son, Michael Raines of Lincolnton; daughters, Jessica Raines of Ohio, and Melissa Hite of Colorado; brother, Garron Raines of Montana; sisters, Ganette Ganoe of West Virginia, Stephanie Wolford of Virginia, Margie Fowler of Florida, Debbie Massie of Virginia, and Alana Noble of Georgia; one granddaughter, Sarah Hite of Colorado; and his K9 companion, Precious.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
