Katherine Beatrice Bridges McCurry

Katherine Beatrice Bridges “Bea” McCurry, age 82, of Wise Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shawn Berryhill officiating. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Golden Valley Church Cemetery, 1269 Golden Valley Church Road, Bostic, N.C. 28018. Ms. McCurry’s body will lie in state on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
“Bea” was born July 7, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert and Lorene Gilbert Bridges. She retired from Vermont American.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth McCurry of the home; sister, Velma Alexander of Lincolnton; brother-in-law, Frank Berryhill, Sr. of Vale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
