Gary Michael Watkins, age 66, of Cat Square Road, Lincolnton passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Bible Missionary Baptist Church, 1238 Jamestown Road, Morganton, N.C. 28655.
Mr. Watkins was born on December 20, 1940 and was the son of the late David Lloyd Watkins and Evelyn Carver Watkins. He was retired from the construction business as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by five brothers, Chester Watkins of Bryson City, NC, Lloyd Watkins of Bryson City, NC, Benny Watkins of Bryson City, NC, Steve Watkins of Clover, SC and Ricky Watkins of Hickory, NC ; one sister Judy Poindexter of Charlotte and a number of nieces and nephews.
