Mary Ann Bynum

Mrs. Mary Ann Bynum, age 76 of Lincolnton passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.
Her funeral will be at 4:00 p.m. at Boger City Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021.
Mrs. Bynum was born January 19th, 1945 in Lincoln County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reid and Ruth Campbell; and one sister, Clara Gilbert. She was a retired hairdresser. She was an active member of Boger City Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert Bynum; one sister, Becky Hurt of Lincolnton; two daughters, Kelly Horstmann and husband Brad of Mooresville; Kendy Pound and husband Greg of Denver; and one son, Bo Bynum and wife Tammy of Iron Station; five granddaughters, Addy Brotherton and husband Gray of Charlotte, Lyndsi Pound and fiance’ Jacob Perez of Charlotte, Ashlynne Horstmann, Campbell Bynum, Channing Bynum; and one grandson, Connor Horstmann.
Memorials can be made to Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 East Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092; Hospice & Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
