Carol Reel Harrill Clark, age 78, of Gaston Webbs Chapel Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Hollybrook Cemetery with Pastor Wesley Ingle and Pastor Timothy Byrd officiating. The family will greet friends following the graveside service. Her body will lie in state from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Warlick Funeral Home; however, the family will not be present.
Mrs. Clark was born March 31, 1943 in Lincoln County to the late James and Margie Perkins Reel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred E. “Bud” Harrill; one sister Mary Jane Reel. Mrs. Clark worked at Talon in Stanley for many years, and then moved on to work for Coca-Cola in Lincolnton and Lincoln Bank in Lincolnton.
She is survived by her husband, Sonny Clark of the home; one sister, Patsy Woodward and husband Pete of Iron Station; one brother, James Reel, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Iron Station; three step children, Donny Harbinson and wife Debbie of Crouse, Sonya Gates and husband Dale of Long Shoals, Angie Hatley and husband Blake of GA; nieces, Karen Dellinger, Kelly Byrd and husband Tim; nephews, Andy Woodward and wife Michelle and Phillip Reel; great nieces and nephews, Samantha, Joseph, Brady and Benjamin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long Shoals Baptist Church, 2988 Long Shoals Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
