Shirley Ann Ellis Huss

Shirley Ann Ellis Huss, age 70, of 2010 Bill Lynch Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Shirley worked as a nurse at Lincoln Nursing Center for many years before moving on to work for Winn Dixie until retirement. She also had a hobby in genealogy and loved to travel, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Blair Huss; son Theodore Worth Huss and wife Crystal of Lincolnton; sisters Janice Rebecca Huss and Kim Higgison and husband Ron Higgison; brothers, Steve Ellis and wife Pat, and Mark Ellis; grandchildren Kristin N. Huss, Candace L. Huss and DeLinsey C. Huss; great grandchildren, Rylan Dean Black and Annalice Rebecca Huss, all of Lincolnton.

Shirley was born August 8, 1951 to the late Paul H. and Edna Cash Ellis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Scotty Ellis, and Gene Ellis and sister Debbie E. Harris.
