Kevin Dennis Mauney

Kevin Dennis Mauney, age 62, of Lincolnton died on Monday, October 25, 2021.
His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardin Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Kevin was born October 3, 1959, in Lincoln County, to Dennis Lee Mauney and the late Alene Brown Mauney. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Phillip Mauney. He previously worked for Firestone Textiles in Gastonia, and as a meter reader for the City of Lincolnton.
He is survived by a son, Kevin Dennis Mauney, Jr., and fiancé Ronni Baker, of Lenoir; father, Dennis Lee Mauney of Lincolnton; two sisters, Sandra Smith, and husband Mike, and Kelly Mauney Dellinger, all of Lincolnton; and two grandchildren, Natalie Mauney and Easton Mauney.
