Holly Lawing Steele
( May 14, 1958 - October 8, 2021 )
Holly Lawing Steele, age 63, of Houser Farm Road, Vale passed away from this fleeting side of life on Friday, October 8, 2021.  Her soul immediately entered into Paradise to be with her Redeemer, Jesus Christ, and many friends & family who have gone on before her. What a joyful reunion they must be having!

Her “Celebration of Eternal Life” service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Harvest Church, 710 Lithia Inn Road, Lincolnton.  Pastors Scott Deneen & Ivan Davis are officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Holly was born on May 14, 1958 to Polly Boggs Bryant and the late C. B. Lawing.  She has devoted the last 43 years to being a wife; the past 37 years added motherhood to her devotions, plus grand motherhood for five years.  Holly has also been a craftsman & artisan since she could use a crayon, we feel certain.  She has specialized in stained glass designs, then in creating beautiful Christmas “Glitter Cone” ornaments for the past 25 years.

In addition to her service to Christ with her family and creative gifts, Holly has served her Lord Jesus with great zeal and passion for the entirety of this millennium, in various ways, from VBS craft coordinator (of course!), to Children’s Sunday School coordinator, to Missions Team Leader. These are just a few examples of how Holly loved to be used by her Abba Father, as guided by the Bible &her gifts of the Spirit, for the glory of Jesus!

Holly is survived by her husband, Fred Steele of the home; her mother, Polly, of Lincolnton; two sons & families, Eric Steele, wife Sarah, son Lincoln & a son due in March 2022, of Charleston, S.C.- Keane Steele, wife Laura, daughter Aliette, sons Logan & Jaxson, of Summerville, S.C.; three sisters, Yvonne Modlin (Nathan) of Lincolnton, Millie Propst (Perry) of Lincolnton and Lyn Owen of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Purpose Place Building Fund, c/o Lincoln CPC, 112 Doctors Park, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or at www.cpclincoln.com
