James Dillard Webb, age 90, of Highway 150, West in Lincolnton, died on Monday, October 4, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Hollybrook Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
James was born March 29, 1931, in Soco Gap, North Carolina, to the late Arthur and Ethel Webb. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sue Hastings Webb. He served in the United States Army/Air Force and later retired from Cape Canaveral.
He is survived by daughters, Patsy Little (Darrell) of Denver, Frances Hawkins (Buddy) of Denver, Jeanette Scoggin of Maiden, and Janice Willis (Kerry) of Vale; son-in-law, Gerald Jordan of Lincolnton; brother, Grable Webb of Georgia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
