Wayne Cletus Wise

Wayne Cletus Wise, age 63, formerly of Lincolnton, NC, and currently of 2860 Stroupe Road in Clover, SC, died on Monday, September 27, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery in Crouse. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mr. Wise was born November 30, 1957 in Miami, Florida, to the late Ulysses Bayne Wise and Dorothy Reynolds Wise. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karley Jayne Wise, and sister, Shirley Dean Wise. He worked as a truck driver for Sunoco.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Michaels Wise of the home; sons, Terrance Connor Wise and Michael Wooten, both of Lincolnton; daughters, Brandi Nicole Wise, and Shanda Lackey Jones (Josh), all of Maiden, and Amanda Trammel West (Mark) of Roebuck, SC; grandchildren, Hayley Wise, Kayla Bolin, Braxtin Turner, Cabry Fleming, Gainan Fleming, Daiton West, and Ashlyn West; brother, Gregory Bayne (Leah) of Lincolnton; sister, Diane Wise Matthew of Lincolnton; nephews, Chuck Johnson, Angie Homesley, Donna Owens (Sunset), Amanda Jenkins (Chad), Kristal Wise, and Kelly Wise; great-niece, Hannah Canipe; and sisters-in-law, Vivian Jarvi, Sandra Benfield (Jerry), Sara Sipe, Debbie Feagin (Barry), and Malinda Hiland (Larry).
