William Walter Story, age 77, of Lincolnton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 16, 2021.
Mr. Story was born on January 11, 1944, in Rutherford County, to the late Alfred Charles Story and Ina Newman Story. For over 50 years he had a successful career as a manager in the woodworking industry.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathryn Sue Story.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Story and wife Nicole of Lincolnton; daughters, Susan McLean and husband Kim of Lenoir, Pamela Story of Lincolnton, and Beverly Jobe and husband Harold of Maquoketa, IA; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
A private service will be held.
