Tony Lee Smith, age 44, of Nottingham Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Goins. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Tony was born May 26, 1977, in Lincoln County, to Sally Thompson Dellinger and the late Dennis Ray Smith. He worked as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Michelle Smith of the home; three sons, Anthony Roy (Michelle Alpi), Cameron Smith, and Brandon Smith, all of Lincolnton; mother, Sally T. Dellinger of Lincolnton; brother, Tommy Smith (Jenny) of Lincolnton; sister, DeeDee Hovis of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Casen Whiteside and Lukas Roy, both of Lincolnton; numerous nieces and nephews; and his #1 canine companion, Zeus.
Memorials may be made to a local veterans service organization.
