Joyce Whisnant Crisson

Joyce Whisnant Crisson, age 85, of Bluff Point Lane in Denver, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Harley Scalf and Rev. Mike Devine officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 at the church prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Crisson was born April 25, 1936, in Cleveland County, to the Harry D. George and Jessie Spake George. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Crisson. Joyce was the owner/operator of Saunder’s Furniture in Lincolnton.
She is survived by her sons, Dustin Crisson and Denby Crisson, both of Denver; sister, Melba G. Ramsey of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Hope (Thomas), Tripper (Bailee), and Karrigan; and great-grandchildren, Miles, Amelia, Indee, and Elsie.
