Sergio Alvarez Rodriguez, age 68, of Kings Mountain, died on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Sergio was born November 28, 1952, in Monterey, Mexico to the late Domingo and Sanjuana Rodriguez Alvarez. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Juan Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez. He worked as a drywall installer.
He is survived by his wife, Erika Paine Alvarez of the home; son, Sergio Enrique Alvarez (Amanda) of Lincolnton; brother, Jesus Rodriguez of Mexico; sister, Louisa of Mexico; and three grandchildren, Gabriel Enrique Alvarez, Rachel Sophia Alvarez, and Isabella Marie Alvarez.
