Linda Carnes Cook, age 77, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Mrs. Cook was born April 30, 1944, in Lincoln County, to the late James Gilbert Carnes and Bertie Branton Carnes. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Cook; brothers, Jimmy Carnes and Richard Carnes; and sister, Joyce Ramsey.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Lee Cook of Lincolnton; daughters, Sonja Gates, and husband Dale, of Lincolnton, and Angie Hartley of Gainesville, GA; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
