Zelma Ella Johnson Clippard

Zelma Ella Johnson Clippard, age 92, of Bill Sain Road in Vale, died on Monday, July 19, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Iron Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clippard was born June 22, 1929, in Gaston County, to the late Oscar David Johnson and Margaret Williamson Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Clippard; brothers, Robert and Dave Johnson; and sisters, Martha Clippard, Sue Bush, and Pauline Johnson. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by sons, Calvin Clippard, Jr. of Vale, Nick Clippard and Harold Clippard, both of Lincolnton; daughters, Diane Anderson of Vale, Cathy Ward of Pumpkin Center, Dorothy Immel of Kings Mountain, and Joyce Davis of Lincolnton; brothers, Calvin Johnson, Johnny Johnson, and Steve Johnson; sister, Tilda Smith; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
