Emily Louthen Jones Keener

Emily Jones Keener, age 72, of 4274 Candlewood Drive, Sherrills Ford, NC passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Randy Setzer officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service at the grave.
Mrs. Keener was born on December 29, 1948 to the late Flay Eugene and Leona Beaver Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clark Gamble Keener. Mrs. Keener was retired after 36 years from CommScope .
She is survived by one son, Scott L. Stamey (Wendy) of Newton; one daughter, Lindsey G. Shumaker (Richie Thomas) of Sherrills Ford; one brother, Richard Jones of Shelby; two sisters, Marcia Hopper (Ken) of Shelby and Angela Hawkins of Shelby; five grandchildren, Emma Kenley Shumaker, Bailey Jayde Shumaker, Zane Michael Shumaker, Randi Lundkovsky and Jessica McCray; one great-granddaughter, Magnolia Lundkovsky .
