Dorothy Gillelan Jenkins

Dorothy Gillelan Jenkins, age 86, of Pete’s Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, July 16, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bill Stanley officiating.
Mrs. Jenkins was born November 2, 1934, in Lincoln County, to the late Thomas Franklin Gillelan, Sr. and Mary Reinhardt Gillelan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Junior Jenkins; a son, Terry Lee Jenkins; and two sisters, Helen Hester and Pansy Hamrick. Dorothy retired from Mohican Mills.
She is survived by a son, Randy Jenkins of Lincolnton; daughter, Cathy Wilson of Iron Station; brother, Thomas F. Gillelan, Jr. of Richmond, VA; sister, Nancy Peterson of Hickory; half-brother, John Gillelan; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
