Danny Eugene Eurey
( February 7, 1952 - July 12, 2021 )
Danny Eugene Eurey, age 69, of South Madison Street in Lincolnton, entered into Eternal rest on Monday, July 12, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Stevens and Pastor Gene Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Danny was born February 7, 1952, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert C. and Katherine Elizabeth Rhyne Eurey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Trey Hyslop; granddaughter, Brianna Eurey; nephew, Robert Hayden Rawlinson; and niece, Lisa Eurey. Dan was an Eagle Scout and was very active in the Boy Scouts of America Troop #74 at Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church, where he was a lifelong member.
He is survived by a daughter, Kristin Eurey Hyslop of Lincolnton; a son, Daniel Eurey of Lincolnton; sister, Phyllis Rawlinson (Haden) of Greer, SC; brother, Robby Eurey of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Blackburn Pauley (Ty), Hunter Blackburn, and Jaxon Hyslop, all of Lincolnton; great-granddaughter, Harlow Pauley; two nieces, Laura Brittain (Scott) of Maiden, and Haley Adams (Jason) of Greenville, SC; and nephew, Ryan Rawlinson (Kara) of Georgia; special friend, Kathryn R. Eurey; and numerous cousins.
