Marie Massingale Little

Marie Massingale Little, age 89, of Sagittarius Circle in Denver, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Muckler officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Little was born February 14, 1932, in Burke County, to the late Vernon Massingale and Lucinda Ballew Martin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, J.T. Massingale and Denver Massingale, and a sister, Olean Massingale. She and her husband were ownership partners at Dixie Boat Works in Newton.
She is survived by three daughters, Tera Rockett, and husband Bruce, of Newton, Jill Huter, and husband Jurgen, of Cary, NC, and Tanya Hodge, and husband Steve, of Denver; three brothers, Eldon Massingale of Washington, Herman Massingale of Idaho, and Alfred Massingale of Washington; two sisters, Linda M. Shaffer of Idaho and Lillian Wortham of Texas; and two grandchildren, Carson Huter and Connelly Huter.
