Judy Anne Pleasant, age 74, of 3236 Maiden Highway in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends graveside following the service. Her body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Judy was born November 17, 1946, in Lincoln County to the late William and Gladys Bryant Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Carpenter, brother; Calvin Mills. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Larry Dean Carpenter (Kimberly) of Linclnton; three daughters, Lisa Knight (Charlie) of Lincolnton, Tina Brooks (Bobby Ledford) of Vale, and Kimberly Sigmon (Steven) of Cherryville; brother, Raymond Pleasant (Carolyn) of Dallas; sister, Pat Jackson (Larry) of Lincolnton; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
