Koehn Douglas Paris, age 14 of Hillcrest Street in Cherryville, died on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Victory Grove Baptist Church, 457 Victory Grove Church Road in Lincolnton, with Rev. Clay Ledford and Zach Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service.
Koehn was born August 29, 2006, in Gaston County, to Kelly Paris and Angela Ballard Paris. He was a student at Cherryville High School.
He is survived by his father, Kelly Paris of Cherryville; mother, Angela Paris of Lincolnton; brother, Jacob Paris of Cherryville; paternal grandparents, Jim and Frances Paris of Crouse; maternal grandfather, Douglas Ballard of Lincolnton; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Valko, and husband Jim, of Maiden; maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Campbell of Maiden; aunt and uncle, Jennifer Carpenter, and husband Alan, of Sherrills Ford; aunt, Jessica Ballard Carpenter of Lincolnton; cousins, Katie Hale, and husband Nick, Julie Carpenter, Chelsea Carpenter, and Scott Carpenter and wife Dani.
