Judith Gail Hovis Calloway

Judith “Gail” Hovis Calloway, age 74, of Terrace Place Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ingle, Dixon Free and Dr. Stanley Spence officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Calloway was born September 10, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late Namon and Cleta Setzer Hovis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Mitchell Eugene Calloway; two brothers, Darrell Hovis and Ken Hovis. Mrs. Calloway worked as a church administrative assistant.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Jackie Calloway of the home; one son, Richie E. Calloway and his wife Tina of Lincolnton; one daughter, Katrina C. Warren and her husband David of North Wilkesboro; one grandson, Chy Franklin Billings, III and partner Kenneth of Wichita, KA.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Playground Fund, 3413 NC-150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
