Ronald Edwin "Pete" Travis, Sr.

Ronald Edwin “Pete” Travis, Sr., age 79, of Huss Street in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Floyd Dean officiating.
“Pete” was born May 18, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late John and Dorothy Neal Travis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Couet. He worked as a supervisor for Bosch Tool.
He is survived by his wife, Blonnie Dellinger Travis of the home; son, Ronald E. “Pete” Travis, Jr. (fiancé, Dinah Barkley); daughter, Tina Houser (Cliff Armstrong) of Lincolnton; sister, Glenda Bortz (Harold) of Maiden; four grandchildren, Devyn Travis, Nikki Travis Burgess (Matthew), Payden Houser and McKenna Houser; and brother-in-law, Roy Couet. Also surviving are many fishing friends and everyday buddies.
Memorials may be made to the Lincolnton VFW Post 1706, PO Box 1024, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
