James Earl Newcomer

James Earl Newcomer, age 80, of Marion Drive in Terrell, went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.
Mr. Newcomer was born September 9, 1940, in Canton, Ohio, to the late James B. Newcomer and Vivian Newcomer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Stella Ann Koval Newcomer; and a sister, Linda Shaw. He worked for Timken as plant manager for 33 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Tamara L. Shifflett (Barry) of Huntersville; two sons, Michael Newcomer of Charlotte, and Mark Newcomer (Joi) of Thomasville; and six grandchildren, Blake, Katelyn, and Lauren Shifflett, Aidan Newcomer, David, and Daniel Newcomer.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
