Charles Edwin 'Charlie' Lockman

Charles Edwin ‘Charlie’ Lockman, age 76, of Hill Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
A graveside service with entombment will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Mr. Lockman was born May 10, 1944, in Lincoln County, to the late Austin Alexander “Bub” Lockman and Sara Cauble Lockman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Lockman and Tommy Lockman. He was a distribution manager in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Barkley Lockman of the home; daughter, Angela Lockman Cable, and husband Michael, of Conover; step-daughter, Lauren Cable of Miami, FL; granddaughter, Lauren Holcomb; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 201 Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
