Anita Lucretia Giannatelli Ralston

Anita Lucretia Giannatelli Ralston, age 92, of Lincolnton, North Carolina, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Delbert Minner officiating.
Mrs. Ralston was born January 6, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Dora Noah DaCosta Giannatelli. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Charles Ralston, and a son, Michael Ralston. She was a teacher and was instrumental in teaching GED studies to World War II veterans.
She is survived by a son, Stephen Charles Ralston of the home; five daughters, Patricia Diane Ralston of TN, Loretta Ralston-Bray of Florida, Kathleen Ralston Wand (Don) of Lincolnton, NC, Michelle Ralston Dean (Daniel) of Lincolnton, NC, Teresa Ralston Wilsey (Troy) of Sumter, SC; a sister, Nora Vermeer (Dick) of Chester, VA; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Any flowers may be sent to Forest Lawn Cemetery for the day of the service.
