Sharon Faye Heavner Turney

Sharon Faye Heavner Turney, age 69, of Lincolnton, died on Monday, January 25, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Chris Diciaccio officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Sharon was born November 6, 1951, in Lincoln County, to T. Ned Heavner and the late Faye Eurey Heavner. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Jackson. She worked for Bank of America, and then the Lincoln County School System. Sharon was a member of Life of Faith Fellowship in Gastonia, NC.
She is survived by her husband, John Turney of the home; daughter, Angie T. Stump (Wayne) of Maiden; sisters, Beth Mosteller (Dale) of Lincolnton, and Jane Trakas (Greg) of Gastonia; and three grandchildren, Audrey, Addysen, and Anderson Stump.
