Priscilla Ann Goodson Hovis

Priscilla Ann Goodson Hovis passed away on January 21, 2021.
Mrs. Hovis was born on February 6, 1940 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late Henry Goodson and Virginia Dyson Goodson. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Eugene Hovis. She was a graduate of Lincolnton High School class of 1958. Priscilla along with Darrell, Jim and Faye Lockman were former co- owners of Iron Station Superette for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lincolnton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Hollybrook Cemetery. Dr. Stanley Spence will officiate.
She is survived by a son, Darrin Hovis and wife Karen of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Jason Hovis, Emily Hovis and fiance` Zack Young; great granddaughter, Avery Young.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 201 Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
