Margaret Alice Foster Stamey Byrum
( May 24, 1936 - January 20, 2021 )
Margaret Alice Foster Stamey Byrum, age 84, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of Clark Creek Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  She was a beloved daughter of Lee Junior and Jiner Smith Foster.

Mrs. Byrum was born May 24, 1936.  She worked as a faithful wife, fearless Mother, Hair Stylist, and Manager of a Fabric Outlet.  She was an outstanding cook, and loved to serve scrumptious food to her family, friends, and church family.  Her laugh was contagious. Her family truly appreciates the people closest to her for teaching her, loving her, and being in her life. She received a call for an appointment from which she will not be returning.  An appointment she happily accepted so she could have a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time, that she loved and missed so much.

She is survived by her husband, William Byrum; son, Danny Boy Stamey and his wife Gail; daughter, Sheila Stamey Parker and her husband Marty of Lincolnton; two sisters, Betty Davis of Lincolnton, and Frances Walters and her husband Pate of Maiden; and granddaughter, Monica Huss McAllister and her husband Dwayne of Pumpkin Center.  She was also blessed with nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Instead of flowers, Margaret would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor unfortunate soul in her name.
