Betty Jacqueline Reep
( February 9, 1929 - January 15, 2021 )
Betty Jacqueline “Jackie” Reep, age 91, of The Addison in Lincolnton, died on Friday, January 15, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021, for immediate family only. The body will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday for those wishing to sign the guest register.
“Jackie” was born February 9, 1929, in Gaston County to the late Thomas B. Reep and Carrie Lowrance Reep. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Thomas Reep; sisters, Margaret Stamey, Mildred Perkins, Clara Houk, and Madge Dellinger; and brothers, Tom Reep, Jr., Charles Reep, and Larry Reep. She was a hairdresser.
She is survived by a son, Steve Reep (Cathy) of Lincolnton; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Reep of Cherryville; grandchildren Cynthia Jordan (Rob), Krista Haynes, and Hope Wilson; great-grandchildren, Trevor Haynes, Hunter Wilson, Jaycie Wilson, Taylor and Robert Jordan; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church, 2582 Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
