Mabel Beth Carpenter Terres
( April 19, 1931 - December 21, 2020 )
Mabel “Beth” Carpenter Terres, age 89, of Gaston Webbs Chapel Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 21, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020, in the Landers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Amy Lambert and Ken Terres officiating.  The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.  

Mrs. Terres was born April 19, 1931, in Gaston County, to the late Zanie Sherwood Carpenter and Laura Elizabeth Harmon Carpenter.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Matthew Terres; two brothers, Lathan Carpenter and Edwin Troy Carpenter; and a sister, Erleen Mosteller.  

She is survived by her husband, Burley Gene Terres of the home; two sons, Kendall Terres (Patsy) of Lincolnton, and Kimball B. Terres (Suzanne) of Manchester, NJ; two daughters, Leslie Caron Hoffman (Jerry) of Lincolnton, and Anita Burleen Honeycutt (Harold) of Albemarle, two sisters, Margie Ann Alexander of Kings Mountain, and Shirley Payseur of Lincolnton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
