Carroll "Worth" Ingle

Carroll “Worth” Ingle, age 90, of Fairview Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Chad Butler, Rev. Vincent Greene, and Rev. Don Martin officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register. The family will not be present.
Mr. Ingle was born January 4, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Mike and Eula Lingerfelt Ingle. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, John Ingle, Dwight Ingle, Farrell Ingle, Thurn Ingle, Everette Ingle, and C.F. Ingle; and sisters, Alma Hawkins, Ilese Brendle, Beulah Broadway, Edith Ingle, and Ruth Ewing. He worked as a machine operator in the furniture industry.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Armstrong Ingle of the home; a son, Timothy Carroll Ingle, and wife Faith, of Lincolnton; granddaughter, Christiana Ingle of Lincolnton; and brother, Mike ‘Jr’ Ingle of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church of Lincolnton, 5051 Fairview Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
