Billie Elmore Freeman

Mrs. Billie Elmore Freeman, age 82, of Dean Lane, Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Lynn and Rev. Harley Scalf officiating. Her body will lie in state from 12: 00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Freeman was born on March 16, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Fitzhugh L. and Lona Sain Elmore.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Freeman and her brother-in-law, Gerald Fox.  Mrs. Freeman worked for many years for the Boger City Sanitary District and retired from the City of Lincolnton.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Bangle and wife, Annette of Rock Hill, S.C. and their son, Jake Bangle and wife, Megan, and their children, Landon and Addison Bangle; one step-son, Ron Freeman of Mint Hill; two step-daughters, Debbie Funderburke of Cherryville and Cindy Smith and their families; two brothers, Bobby L. Elmore and wife, Reba of Crouse and Ray Elmore and wife, Joanne of Conover: two sisters, Nellie Scronce and husband, Harold of Maiden and Reba Ann Fox of Taylorsville; numerous nieces and nephews.
