Hayden Curtis Green

Hayden Curtis Green, age 8, of Holy Angels in Belmont, died on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Hollybrook Cemetery with Rev. Bill Bigham officiating. Immediately following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Boger City Baptist Church. His body will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 and Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Hayden was born July 30, 2012, in Lincoln County, to Billy Green and Samantha Gore. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Ray Green, maternal grandfather, John Gore and paternal great-grandparents, Earl and Willie May Brooks and, maternal great-grandfather, Gary Stamey
He is survived by his father, Billy Green of Lincolnton; mother, Samantha Gore of Lincolnton; maternal grandmother, Janna Surgeon; paternal grandmother Teresa Brooks Cortes; maternal great-grandmothers, Susan Hester of Lincolnton and Sue Stamey of Lincolnton; uncle, Jeremy Gore and wife Laura of Middletown, NY; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and the loving friends and family that Hayden adopted, his doctors and nurses at Levine Children’s Hospital on the 10th floor, the nurses at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, the nurses and staff at Holy Angels in Belmont, NC.
Memorials may be made to Levine Children’s Hospital, PO Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232.
