Maria Trappina Ioan, age 92, of Clear Lake Trail in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Zion Cemetery with Father David Miller officiating.
Mrs. Ioan was born August 25, 1928, in Palmanova, Italy, to the late Primo and Regina Marcoratti Trappina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Benito Ioan. She was a seamstress and homemaker.
Surviving her are a son, Robert U. Ioan, and wife Joy, of Vale; a daughter, Patrizia Beach, and husband, Leslie Allen, of New York; grandchildren, Christopher Ioan, and wife Kelli, Victoria Ingle, and husband Trevor, Heather- Leigh Scott, and husband, Jason; a sister, Lucia of Italy; and two great-grandsons, Hudson Ioan and Carter Ingle.
