Darlene Keever Whiteside, age 75, of Keever Dairy Farm Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
Darlene was born December 14, 1944, in Lincoln County, to the late Joseph Frank Keever and Mildred Bumgarner Keever. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by a sister. She worked for Dallas Pillow Company.
Darlene is survived by her husband, James C. Whiteside of the home; a son, Randy S. Whiteside of Lincolnton; a daughter, Melissa W. McSwain, and husband Rick of Lincolnton; and a granddaughter, Kaylon McSwain.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207, or to the National Kidney Foundation, 933 Louise Avenue, Suite 101B, Charlotte, NC 28204.
