Louise Hilda DeHart Day

Louise Hilda DeHart Day, age 88, of Peak Resources in Gastonia, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Day at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020, in Gaston Memorial Park.
Mrs. Day was born March 22, 1932, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to the late Robert Lee DeHart and Bessie Holmes DeHart. In addition, her husband Lewis Day, preceded her; as well as a sister, Louis Auten. She retired from Belmont Textile Machinery.
She is survived by a son, Joey Day, and wife Debbie, of Iron Station; two grandchildren, Tyler Day and Victoria Prato, of Hilton Head, and Kendra Jackson and husband, Jerrod, of Iron Station; and one great-granddaughter, Noelle Jackson.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
