Bobby Gene Cook, age 49 of Palm Tree Drive in Vale died Friday, July 31, 2020.
Mr. Cook was born June 21, 1971 in Burke County. He was the son of the late Charles Ray Cook and Shirley Smith Cook. He was employed in manufacturing.
His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Community Grove Church. Rev. Danny Castle will officiate. Burial will be at Hollybrook Cemetery. His body will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. until 4: 00 p.m. on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Angel Shuffler Cook of the home; sons, Marcus Cook of Vale and Seth Cook of Cherryville; step daughters, Caitlin Kirk and Lisa Townsend both of Lenoir; brother, Michael Cook of Lincolnton; sister, Susan Willis of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, McKenna Cook and Rogan Cook; two step grandchildren, Andrea Kirk and Andrew Kirk.
