Ray "P-Nut" Johnson

Ray “P-Nut” Johnson, age 81 of Hoover Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, July 31, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Prichard officiating. The body will lie in state on Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present during this time.
Mr. Johnson was born April 3, 1939, in Harmony, North Carolina, to the late Edgar and Eva Mencer Johnson. In addition, he was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and his beloved dog, “Susie.” He served in the United States Army, and upon returning home, worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lowe Johnson of the home; two daughters, Wendy Johnson of Conover, and Angie Johnson, and fiancé Randy Stein, of Stanley; and a sister, Ellen Beckham of Statesville.
