Geraldine Stone Barton

Geraldine Stone Barton, age 82, of Barton Family Lane in Iron Station, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Mrs. Barton, a child of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, was born August 19, 1937, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Henry and Marjorie Hall Stone. She worked as the office manager/owner, alongside her husband Tom, for Hotsy Carolinas in Denver, NC. She dearly loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Barton, Sr. of the home; two sons, Thomas D. Barton, Jr. (Janice) of Iron Station, NC, and Tim Barton (Vicki) of Franklinton, NC; a daughter, Donna B. Carsey (Chris) of Lincolnton, NC; seven grandchildren, Jamie Stewart (Charlie), Daniel Hinson (Heather), Timothy Barton, Jr. (Caryann), Allison B. Rogers (Donovan), Thomas D. Barton, III (Kathryn), Rachel H. Parish (Mark), and Sallie B. McAlister (Chris); fifteen great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
