Tlene Sherrill Barker, age 69, of St. James Church Road in Denver, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Fairfield United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Towery officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Tlene was born November 3, 1950, in Lincoln County, to the late Paul and Merle Collins Sherrill. She worked as a hair dresser.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Lewis Barker of the home; two daughters, Kadye B. McCaslin (Trey) of Denver, and Marjorie B. Fish (Barrett) of Willow Spring; and four grandchildren, Chandler and Morgan McCaslin of Denver, and Rainey and Lola Fish of Willow Spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
