Erica Nixon Begue
( June 9, 1980 - May 18, 2020 )
It is with great sorrow that the family of Erica Christina Nixon Begue’, announces her passing on Monday May 18th, 2020 at the age of 39.
Erica is survived by her loving sons, Cameron Begue’ of Lincolnton, NC and Blake Begue’ of Lincolnton, NC. Her family members include: Parents, David and Sheryl Nixon of Stanley, NC. Grandmother, Elaine Valentine of Summerfield, NC. Sisters, Sommer Hallman of Denver, NC, Maria Landry of Gastonia, NC, and Sherry Persinger of Great Falls, SC. Predeceased grandparents Hubert Valentine of Summerfield, NC, Ernest and Katie Nixon of Stanley, NC.
Erica graduated from East Lincoln High School in Denver, NC, studied at UNC Charlotte majoring in Business and received a Paralegal degree from Gaston College.
Everyone that knew Erica knows that she loved and valued all of her family and friends. Her favorite place to getaway was the beach. She enjoyed her pets, singing karaoke, and spending time with loved ones. Erica was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
