Daniel David Burch, age 66, of Star Lane in Cherryville, died on Monday, May 11 ,2020.
Daniel was born July 27, 1953, in Clay County, to the late Grady and Madge Parker Burch Champion. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Marvin Burch, William Burch, and Melvin Burch; and sisters, Nancy Burch, Juanita Burch. He worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Thoma of Cherryville; two sons, Brian Burch and Shane Philyaw, both of Lincolnton; a daughter, Amanda Burch of Newton; a grandson, Jayden Glenn of Newton; two sisters, Geneal Patterson (Bobby Joe), and Linda Burch Metcaff (Donald Patterson), all of Hayesville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and step-father, Mickey Champion of Lincolnton.
Services will be planed for a later date.
