Sue Jane Connor Hoffman

Sue Jane Connor Hoffman, age 85, of Home Trail in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
Mrs. Hoffman was born July 12, 1934, in Alta Vista, Virginia, to the late Rev. Allen F. Connor, Sr. and Lucy Rhyne Connor. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Lathan Hoffman; four brothers, Bill, Benny, Ken, and Harry Connor; and a granddaughter, Hope Hoffman. Mrs. Hoffman was a devoted pianist and organist for over fifty years for Long Shoals Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by three sons, David Hoffman, Jerry Hoffman (Leslie), and Steve Hoffman (Cheryl Renee), all of Lincolnton; three daughters, June H. Stewart (Steve Linker) of Denver, Jean Hoffman and LouAnn H Cain (Steve), all of Lincolnton; a brother, Allen F. Connor, Jr. of Lincolnton; a sister, Katy C. Hollingsworth of Cornelius; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
