Cecil Audrey Flowers, Jr.

Cecil Audrey Flowers, Jr., age 85, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
Mr. Flowers was born September 21, 1934, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Cecil Audrey Flowers, Sr. and Velma Bynum Flowers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Doris Shuford Flowers. Cecil was the owner/operator of Cecil’s Slaw for over 40 years. Cecil loved gardening, was an avid collector of Corvair’s, attended the Auto Fair for years, and spending time with his family at the lake.
He is survived by a son, Eddie Flowers, and wife Janet, of Lincolnton; a daughter, Jenny Gunter, and husband Scott, of Lincolnton; and five grandchildren, Tyler Lawing, Taylor Lawing, Andrew Flowers, Austin Flowers, and Ashlyn Flowers.
