Gussie Martin Knight

Gussie Martin Knight, age 75, of Oaklane Drive in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at David Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Whitesides officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mrs. Knight was born July 21, 1944, in Conway, South Carolina, to the late Percey Clifton Martin and Rosette Suggs Martin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Martin.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel “Sonny” Knight of the home; two sons, Donald Allen Jones of Concord, and Henry Allen Jones, Jr. of Albemarle; a daughter, Wanda Faye O’Donnell of Lincolnton; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four step-sons, Ernie Knight of Myrtle Beach, SC, Roger Knight of Lakeland, FL, John Knight of Winston-Salem, NC, and Steve Knight of Mountain City, TN.
