John Miller Reep
( November 19, 1929 - February 19, 2020 )
John Miller Reep, 90, of Lincolnton passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.  He was born on Nov 19, 1929 in Lincoln County to Clarence and Ida Seagle Reep.  His parents preceded him in passing, as well as his brothers and sisters Mary Leonhardt, Harvey Reep, Ward Reep, Ruth Moller, Inez Beam, and Gene Reep.

Loved ones include his wife Beth Helms Reep, his children Sherian Reep and husband Ray Osborne, Kenneth Reep and wife Kay Reep, Amy Reep and Kelly Medlock, and his grandchildren Andrew Reep and wife Kellie Reep, and Austin Reep and wife Lindsay Reep.  

Miller graduated from Union High School in Vale, NC. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953, including peacetime duty in Germany. During his career, he worked in the textile industry, made home deliveries for Biltmore Dairy Farms, was a truck driver for Carolina Freight, and served as a Sears appliance repairman until retirement.  He enjoyed woodworking and will be remembered for his warm smile.

The family will receive friends at Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.  Rev. Robert Hill will officiate.
