Billy Paul Helms, age 64, of Loop Road in Lincolnton, died on February 12, 2020.
Billy was born April 25, 1955, in Lincoln County, to the late Luther and Lula Canipe Helms. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Crepeau Helms of the home; a step-daughter, Tina Yount of Alabama; step-sons, Gary Yount and John Yount, both of Florida; two brothers, Fred Helms and Wayne Helms, both of Lincolnton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
